Aperture: the size of the lens opening through which light passes.

 

Shutter: a mechanism that opens and closes to admit light into a camera for a measured length of time.

 

ISO: The sensitivity of your image sensor or film inside your camera.

 

Exposure triangle: Associates the 3 variables that determine the exposure of a camera. 

 

DSLR: A digital camera combining the optics and the mechanisms of a single lens reflex camera with a digital imaging sensor.

 

Rule of thirds: in which the frame is divided into into nine imaginary sections.

 

Composition: the placement or arrangement of visual elements.
